Puppy Yummies!

My youngest daughter is a volunteer at our local pet shelter.  She's only 12.  She started when she was 11 years old.  No-one has ever been able to go there before 14 years of age to volunteer!  We told the shelter she needs to understand the importance of giving and not just receiving.  This isn't always easy when they are an only, or like she, raised like an only child due to the age differences.  She loves it at the shelter and they love her.

She searched online to find recipes to make doggie treats.  She took those recipes to the shelter to see which one(s) they approved of.  This was the recipe she made with the assistance of her dad!  Wow!  She and I made the bucket to put them in.  We had to keep the frills to a minimum in case they would like to reuse the bucket.  It was a family project.  It was fun and a great lesson for my daughter to remember to help others!

For the front puppy we used Four Legged Friends.

For the bones and words "Puppy Yummies"  we used Mickey Font.

I am very proud of my little girl!

Thanks for stopping by!
